LifeArcity™ was developed from the belief that many individuals lack simple, integrated and genuinely understandable ways to observe the broader direction and sensitivity of their financial future.
Over time, personal financial information has become increasingly fragmented across accounts, spreadsheets, investment statements, retirement projections, budgeting tools and advisory platforms. While many of these resources may provide useful individual data points, they often fail to help individuals step back and clearly observe the broader direction, structure and interconnectedness of their overall financial lives.
LifeArcity™ was created to help address that challenge.
Its objective is not merely to generate numbers or projections, but rather to encourage greater financial awareness, curiosity, understanding and clarity through a self-guided and ungated, comprehensive, integrated and more human-centered framework.
Origin of the Framework
The broader framework from which First Look™ was derived — currently branded What’s MY #? — originated from decades of ongoing refinement, observation, financial modeling and strategic thinking surrounding long-term financial planning, forecasting and decision-making.
The framework was always intended to progress far beyond traditional budgeting or retirement projection concepts into a broader, more comprehensive and fully-integrated system intended to help individuals more clearly visualize and better understand the interconnected nature of their financial lives.
The concept underlying LifeArcity™ continues to evolve.

About the Founder
LifeArcity™ was created by Kevin W.T. Kroft, CPA, CA, a former CFO and long-time financial executive with extensive experience in financial analysis, forecasting, strategic planning, business leadership and volunteer business mentoring.
Throughout his career, Kevin developed and utilized complex financial models, planning systems and long-term forecasting frameworks across a variety of business and personal financial contexts.
In more recent years, his focus increasingly shifted toward a broader question:
“How might financial understanding become more accessible, integrated, intuitive and genuinely useful for ordinary individuals navigating increasingly complex financial lives?“
